There are three main departments in the structure of NatCon 1996, namely , Liaisons & Operations , Logistics , and Marketing.
Logistics will be responsible for all necessary arrangements prior to NATCON itself which include the venue of the seminar , transportation of the delegates to the venue and back and if needed, transportation while the seminar is on going and catering. The department would also be responsible for producing photocopy machines, computers, printers (preferrably laser printers), and all other equipment needed. In line with these, the department would also be responsible for talking to the management of the venue , transportation, and catering if there would be changes in the contract.
Liaisons & Operations will be responsible for all communicational matters regarding NATCON, which includes basically three things: namely promotion of the seminar to the other LC's , coordination with the NC for the agenda , and running the show in NatCon itself. The department should see to it that pertinent information is effectively disseminated within the OC as well as external parties where needed. Their presence is absolutely required to ascertain the success of the seminar.
Marketing will be in charge of all activities needed to raise funds for NatCon. The department must oversee the effective implementation as well as the profitability of each activity. Marketing must also coordinate with the other departments of the Local Committee, particularly Finance to ensure smooth transition of all resources and to avoid conflicts which will hinder the planning of NatCon.
